Two scientists of the Poznan University of Life Sciences – Prof. Damian Jozefiak and Prof. Piotr Tryjanowski – were ranked among the best researchers in the world, published by the academic platform Research.com, reports the university.
Among the four scientists from Poland included in the ranking, Prof. Jozefiak ranked 3rd in the thematic area of animal science and veterinary with 1,663 citations, 65 publications and an H-index of 22.
In the thematic area of ecology and evolution (ecology and evolution), Prof. Piotr Tryjanowski ranked fourth among the 20 scientists from Poland included, with 11 382 citations, 385 publications and an H-index of 54.
In the area of animal and veterinary sciences, in which data of more than 3,419 scientists from all over the world was analysed, the Poznań University was ranked second in Poland – behind the University of Warsaw and ahead of the Jagiellonian University.
