Two scientists of the University of Szczecin will carry out their research projects thanks to grants under the Opus competition organized by the National Science Center.
Dr Agnieszka Szudarek, University of Szczecin will lead the project “German and Polish women in the social policy of Poznań at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries”. Its purpose is to analyze the social policy of Poznań at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, i.e. from the inclusion of women in the policy in the 1890s to 1914. The project will also show local social policy as a field of cooperation between Polish and German women.
Dr Franco Ferrari, University of Szczecin will lead the project “Modeling of polymer systems in the presence of non-trivial topological conditions: a comprehensive analytical-numerical approach”. The aim of the researcher is to learn and better understand the influence of topological effects on the mechanical and thermal properties of polymer materials.
