A working meeting of the signatories of the Letter of Intent for the creation of the Subcarpathian Hydrogen Valley was held at the Rzeszów University of Technology. The creation of the hydrogen valley will allow to use of the potential of Rzeszów and Subcarpathian Region in modern technologies and to build a place where fuel cells will be produced. 

During the meeting, the participants discussed the schedule, goals and directions of further activities in the area of ​​this project in the following areas: low-carbon aviation – hydrogen as aircraft fuel; the chain of production, supply, storage and refuelling of hydrogen for aircraft; hydrogen bus – low-emission city transport; hydrogen production using renewable energy sources – photovoltaics, wind energy, geothermal energy; laboratory of hydrogen energy technologies; training staff in the field of hydrogen energy.

Each signatory of the Letter of Intent will appoint one representative to the Working Team for the Subcarpathian Hydrogen Valley. It will also be necessary to choose the organizational and legal form to be adopted by the Subcarpathian Hydrogen Valley and to select a coordinator of organizational work. The Rzeszów University of Technology expressed the will to perform this function.
