Rzeszów University of Technology and Linetech Aircraft Maintenance have signed a cooperation agreement. They will jointly train aviation engineers, support students’ research and projects.

The strategic cooperation agreement includes practical training of aviation engineers, R & D support of the projects addressed to academic lecturers, scientific groups or even sports sections.

Rzeszów University of Technology has been training civil aviation pilots for over 40 years, and since 2007 it has added also aviation mechanics. Graduates of the university are becoming engineers of manufacturing companies from the Aviation Valley. LINETECH Aircraft Maintenance is a service provider of MRO (Maintenance, Reparir, Overhaul / Service, Repair, Regeneration) for Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and one of the leading services for Embraer brand products.

– The contract with Linetech expands the possibilities of our cooperation with the aviation sector. They will be used by both students and our lecturers. This is an important part of our development strategy – says Tadeusz Markowski, rector of the Rzeszów University of Technology.
