The Foundation for the Support of Education of the “Aviation Valley” Association is launching the project RoboLAB, which is addressed to students of secondary schools in the Podkarpacie Region, and also to other students in the future. The participants of the project will develop robots to start in international competitions.

The strategic partner of the project is Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów, and the main partners are the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz).

According to PRz, the project is divided into two modules. The first consists of a series of classes and training sessions allowing students to gain knowledge in order to participate in the international robotics competition organized by the Foundation. For the purposes of these competitions, students will develop complex robotic structures that will perform the tasks set by the organizers.

RoboLAB will be located in the PRz building. Researchers of the University of Rzeszów, experts in robotics, mechanics, automation and programming, will substantively support the project, thanks to which robots developrd by teams will be able to compete on the international arena in the near future.
