The 2nd IT and Chess Educational Congress combined with the chess tournament will take place on September 21-22, 2021 at the G2A Arena in Jasionka near Rzeszów. The co-organizer and scientific patron of this event is the Rzeszów University of Technology.

The aim of the congress is to support the initiative of introducing elements of chess into school curricula. Logical and analytical thinking, the ability to observe, inventiveness and creativity are the qualities developed while playing chess. Such predispositions are very desirable among future students of technical and IT sciences. The 2nd IT and Chess Educational Congress is an excellent opportunity for universities to present their educational offer and acquire candidates for studies.

The Congress is under the honorary patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Marshal and the Voivode of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
