Dr Eng. Alicja Kazek-Kęsik from the Silesian University of Technology was among the laureates of the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. She will receive PLN 5,390 per month for 3 years for her achievements in the field of chemical engineering.

– The scholarship is a great award, motivating me for further work. Conducting research in the field of biomaterials requires continuous improvement of your research skills. I would like to thank the authorities of the Silesian University of Technology and colleagues from the chemical department for the opportunity to carry out scientific research and support in the implementation of projects – says the scholarship holder.

The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded 200 people from among 1793 applicants. The special jury qualified and assessed achievements, authorship and co-authorship of the monograph or its chapter, a scientific article, research project leadership, obtaining a patent and successes in international competitions.
