The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) will launch a scholarship program with a budget of nearly EUR 12 million for the best scientists from around the world to conduct research at the Polish Academy of Sciences institutes. The program is co-financed from the European Union funds.
The PAS received funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND program, supporting scientific institutions in activities promoting the development and training of research staff.
As part of the PASIFIC program (“Polish Academy of Sciences’ Individual Fellowships: Innovation & Creativity”), 50 two-year scholarships will be funded, for both foreigners and Poles staying at least two years outside of Poland. Scholarship holders will receive scholarships and research grants worth up to 60,000. EUR. The expected results of this program will be further internationalization of PAS institutes as well as the development of scholarship scholars.
