The School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia in Katowice is launching language and adaptation course for 60 foreigners undertaking second-degree studies in Poland under the Stefan Banach Scholarship Program. The course is co-financed as part of the development program by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Students from Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova will start their studies at Polish universities after the lectures and seminars extending their knowledge about Poland, and after an intensive Polish language course that will help them participate in academic life.
Scholarship holders will learn about the role of Poland in the European Union, international political and economic relations, economic situation and social awareness of Poles, history and principles of academic coexistence. Thus, they will be able to participate in discussions, seminars and workshops on Polish customs and traditions.
