The Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer at the Silesian University of Technology is inviting participants to the Science and Business Festival “Patent for Profit” on 26 and 27 April. The event is part of the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day.

The aim of the festival is to disseminate scientific achievements and the idea of commercialisation of research results, as well as patent protection of the best solutions of the new technology sector and other industries in the socio-economic environment.

During the festival, a conference will be organised at the Centre’s headquarters in Gliwice, during which there will be a presentation of research results, an exchange of views on contemporary directions in technology transfer and the awarding of the ‘Innovation Leader of the Silesian University of Technology’ competition.

The second day will be devoted to promoting the scientific and research achievements of the university and disseminating knowledge about intellectual property and patent protection in the socio-economic environment of Gliwice.
