From 21 to 30 September 2018, the Science Festival will take place in Warsaw. Established in 1996 at the initiative of the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw University of Technology and the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Science Festival in Warsaw was the first event of this type in Poland.
Its main purpose is to provide knowledge about scientific achievements. The motto of the festival is: “Lack of investment in science is an investment in ignorance”.
The organizers prepared seven main debates, that focus on such issues as the 100th anniversary of Polish independence, artificial intelligence and climate. The University of Warsaw is the organizer of over 170 from 442 open lectures.
