The Department of Transport and Informatics of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza is inviting participants to the Scientific and Technical Seminar “Sidings and terminals in railway supply chains”, which will be held on 23-24 March.
Rail sidings and terminals are an important link in the processes of logistics and forwarding in transport, and their number and technical quality are the basis for the development of the Polish railway industry. Participants in the seminar will become acquainted with the new legal, technical, organisational as well as economic aspects of the functioning of this infrastructure, the problem of co-financing projects related to infrastructure and management, and safety issues.
The Seminar will also discuss issues concerning advanced technologies in rail intermodal transport, rail transhipment infrastructure, transport of dangerous goods, and special and intermodal consignments.
