The Department of Social Communication and Journalism of the Koszalin University of Technology and the Student Scientific Society “Badamy Reklamy” invite students to the first scientific conference from the series “Areas of advertising”. Representatives of various scientific fields, as well as practitioners in the field of social communication will take part in the conference.
The first scientific conference from the series “Areas of advertising” will focus on the taboo phenomenon in advertising. The meeting is intended to allow a broad reflection on what is accepted in advertising messages – commercial, social and political texts, and what exceeds these standards, causing social opposition and indignation.
The conference, planned for October 22, will also be a chance to reflect on what the broadcasters are gaining, violating publicly accepted social norms with their taboo advertisements, and what they lose or may lose and how they deal with such situations.
