The Mexican Embassy in Poland, the Jagiellonian Library, the Mexican Center of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow and the Mexican Center of the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a branch in Berlin are organizing on 19 June 2019 the scientific conference “Treasures of Mexico”.

The event will include the presentation of manuscripts from the archive of Alexander Humboldt and objects from the collection “Manuscripta americana” from the former Prussian State Library in Berlin, which is kept in the Jagiellonian Library.

The celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the eminent scientist and researcher, Alexander Humboldt will include the “Treasures of Mexico” conference that will contribute to the scientific discussions about this great humanist and the history and conquest of Mexico.
