Scientist from the University of Agriculture in Kraków becomes a member of the Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Professor Eng. Maciej Kuboń from the University of Agriculture in Krakow (URK) was elected a member of the Production Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

The scope of activities of the Production Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences include: research and studies in the field of modeling and computer simulation of production processes as well as organization and management of production and the enterprise, development of standards and opinions on curricula, development of scientific expertise and opinions as well as consultancy in the field of quality, work safety and logistics, innovation, productivity, as well as conducting activities disseminating knowledge about the problems of modern production engineering.

Professor Eng. Maciej Kuboń is the head of the Department of Production Engineering, Logistics and Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Production and Energy Engineering of the Agricultural University. He is the author or co-author of over 150 works highly valued among the scientists, including books: Contemporary agricultural engineering – achievements and new challenges (2015), Agricultural engineering in the age of innovative economy (2012) and many articles published in renowned scientific journals.
