Dr Eng. Wiesław Półjanowicz from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bialystok received the statuette of the 70th anniversary of Polish Information Technology. The honorable prize is granted by the Main Board of the Polish Information Processing Society to persons and institutions especially deserving for the development of computer science in Poland.

In addition to scientific and didactic work, Dr Eng. Półjanowicz participated in the implementation of the project “Modern and effective education in cooperation with entrepreneurs” (2009-2011). Its effect was the implementation of an e-learning platform at the University of Bialystok.
