A scientist from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Wrocław will start three-year Polish-Austrian cooperation under the Weave-UNISONO competition organized by the National Science Center.
The Weave-UNISONO competition is funding bi- and tripartite research projects with Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland and Germany, and soon also with Luxembourg and Belgium-Flanders. It is a form of supporting international research collaboration.
The funding will allow one of the scientists to undertake research cooperation with Austrian partners is Dr Piotr Borodulin-Nadzieja from the faculty of mathematics and computer science at the University of Wrocław. He was awarded over PLN 388,000 for the research: “Analytical P-ideals, Banach spaces and measure algebras”. The project manager for the foreign partner will be Barnabas Artur Farkas from the Vienna University of Technology.
