Dr Eng. Paweł Borowiecki from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology (PW) became a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry based in London. It is an elite organization of chemists from all over the world.

The distinction is the result of the high scientific level of articles published this year by Dr Eng. Borowiecki in prestigious magazines published by the Royal Chemical Society.

The scientist works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology of Medicinal Agents and Cosmetics at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology. For two years, Dr Borowiecki has been leading the research team at the Laboratory of Biocatalysis and Biotransformation, which, despite its young scientific experience, has had many successes in biocatalysis and medical chemistry.
