Dr Eng. Karolina Petela, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy of the Silesian University of Technology became the laureate of the Prime Minister’s Award. The evaluation jury appreciated her doctoral dissertation devoted to the modern, ecological energy production.
Dr Eng. Karolina Petela was among 25 laureates awarded in the category of an outstanding doctoral dissertation. Her work “Analysis of solar energy application into hybrid heat nodes” was awarded for contributing to the internationalization of one of the key Polish competences in the energy sector – trigeneration with use of renewable energy sources.
The prizes of the Prime Minister have been awarded since 1994 in the following categories: an outstanding doctoral dissertation, highly rated achievements constituting the basis for presenting the post PhD title or achievements in the field of scientific activity, including artistic or implementation activity.
