Dr Wojciech Glac from the Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdańsk became the winner of the 2019 Science Promoter competition in the ‘Scientist’ category. The competition is organized by the PAP Nauka in Poland website and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Dr. Wojciech Glac from the Laboratory of Neurobiology of the Department of Animal and Human Physiology of the University of Gdańsk is a valued academic teacher and promoter of knowledge about the brain as well as the originator and organizer of the Brain Days at the University of Gdańsk. Every year, he delivers several dozen popular science lectures on neuroscience.

109 candidates have registered for this year’s 15th Science Promoter competition. The first degree competition jury selected 22 finalists of 109 applicants who were nominated for the award this year in 5 categories.
