Prof. Christopher Yukins from the US George Washington University will deliver an online lecture on “US International trade policy under President Joe Biden’s administration”. The meeting will take place as part of the lecture “Public procurement in geostrategy” conducted by Dr Michał Kania, University of Silesia from the Faculty of Law and Administration.

As part of the meeting – scheduled for May 18 – the scientists will present the issues related to the role of public procurement in achieving the geopolitical goals of the United States.

Prof. Yukins is the director and lecturer of the Government Procurement Law program at George Washington University. He has been guest lecturer all over the world. He was an adviser to the US delegation in the Working Group on the Reform of the Model Public Procurement Law of the United Nations Commission. He was a rapporteur in the US Congress and the European Parliament on matters relating to public procurement.
