Scientists of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences have examined the tourism plans of Poles during the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers were researching the attitude of the respondents to rest on agritourism farms and the popularity of such facilities in future.
The researchers asked the reasons of tourists to choose an agritourism farm as a holiday destination and how they assess the level of safety of such facilities today. They were also asked about the actions that should be taken by farm owners to increase the safety of tourists.
The results show that a holiday on an agritourism farm is becoming more and more interesting among tourists who want to relax in safe conditions in the nature. Agro-break trips with short-term weekend stays in the countryside, without the crowds of tourists, will become very popular.
