Eng. PhD student Ewelina Brodawka, from the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, won the international competition for the simulation of the technological process Simulation Cup (PSC2017). The third place was taken by Eng. Kamil Krzemień, who studies chemical technology at the same faculty.

The competition, which lasted from March 2017 to February 2018, was attended by over 150 students and PhD students from 70 leading technical universities from around the world. In the year-round competition the participants had to demonstrate their skills in chemical process engineering, chemical simulations, knowledge about automation and in control of industrial processes.
