Scientists from the University of Life Sciences in Poznań receive scholarships of the Bekker program

Dr Eng. Anna Malinowska from the faculty of food and nutrition sciences and Dr Anshu Rastogi from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Economy of the Poznań University of Life Sciences are the winners of the Bekker program and will receive scholarships covering the costs of staying in scientific centers abroad.

Dr Eng. Anna Malinowska will implement the project “Changes in intestinal microbiota caused by nutritional factors and host health”. Her host center is Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. Dr Anshu Rastogi will implement the project “Development of Radiation Transfer Models (RTM) to better understand remote sensing signals from climate manipulated peatland”. His host center is the University of Twente in the Netherlands.

Trips lasting from 3 to 24 months will allow them to work in recognized scientific teams, implement projects together with outstanding foreign scientists and establish long-term cooperation. The program is organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
