Scientists from Wrocław University of Science and Technology developing an innovative mobile air monitoring system

05.05.2021

The international HAPADS project is implemented at the Department of Applied Computer Science at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The task of Wrocław scientists is to design and develop a mobile air monitoring platform that can be used by drivers, transport companies, officials and ordinary residents.

Scientists from the University will study the air condition in Opole. The system will consist of sensors, programmable devices, data acquisition systems, optimization models, integrated air pollution calibration models and a user interface. It will be accurate, small, autonomous and will detect various types of air pollution.

The project is being carried out by an international consortium including the Wrocław University of Science and Technology university, the Gdańsk University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Norwegian Institute for Air Research, University of Tromso, the Arctic University of Norway and Logistics Enhancement Systems and Services.
