The Association of Polish Engineers and Technicians announced the results of the nationwide competition for the “Best technical achievement of 2017”. The first place in the “Research and development works and positions” category was taken by scientists from the mechanical faculty of the Wrocław University of Technology.

The project “A new generation electric vehicle with adaptive operating properties as a base platform for universal applications” was created at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Industrial Machines and Vehicles.The work of Prof. Piotr Dudziński, Gustaw Sierzputowski and Adam Konieczny is a unique modular chassis structure that allows configuring a wide range of vehicle variants with any suspension system, vehicle turn layout, number of drive wheels and chassis geometry. The construction can be used in the mining, agricultural and construction industries and also in the army and fire brigade.
