Three teams of scientists from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology have won prizes and distinctions in this year’s competition of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Polish Mechanics for the best technical achievements.

In the category of achievements implemented in the industry, the team of Prof. Zbigniew Mirski was awarded for “Innovative technologies of soft and hard soldering of hard-to-weld aluminum, magnesium and titanium alloys in unlike connections”.

In the category of works and scientific and research positions, the team of Prof. Andrzej Ambroziak took third place for the “Application of generative technologies for the production of mechanical elements from iron-based amorphous materials”.

The award in the category of works and scientific and research positions was received by Prof. Piotr Dudziński and Dr Eng. Andrzej Kosiara for “A research demonstrator of the new generation of a comprehensive system of automatic operator support for mobile machines with a work manipulator”.
