The National Science Center (NCN) has launched the competitions for research projects in the basic research OPUS 16, addressed to all researchers regardless of internship and academic degrees, and PRELUDIUM 16 and SONATA 14 addressed to researchers at the beginning of their scientific career.

Researchers will receive a total of more than PLN 527.6 million for research projects in the basic research.

3826 applications for the total amount of over PLN 2.4 billion were submitted, of which 777 projects were qualified for financing. The total value of financing in all three competitions was PLN 527,205,611, and the average success rate exceeded 20.5%.
