From 1 September to 13 October 2023, the call for applications for the ‘Pearls of Science II’ programme will start. The programme aims to support exceptionally talented students in scientific research or artistic creation.
It should be recalled that 98 people received support in the former programme, and the Ministry of Education and Science allocated more than PLN 21 million for this purpose.
The subject of the programme is to support entities of the higher education system and science in creating conditions for development of exceptionally talented graduates of BA studies or students after the end of the third or fourth year of unified MA studies by enabling them to conduct scientific research or artistic creativity under the guidance of a scientific or artistic tutor.
“Pearls of Science”, which is the successor to the “Diamond Grant”, is an undertaking of the Minister of Education and Science. The programme includes not only conducting scientific research, but also artistic creation.
