The Medical University and the Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw organized a conference on “Rescue systems in Poland and civil and military security”. Over 300 participants attended the three-day meeting – we read on the University’s website.
On the first day, the security of the state was discussed, the threats and the role and tasks of specialist rescue and military medical rescue. After the lectures there were three discussion panels: tactical medicine, emergency medical services and specialist rescue.
On the second day, army specialists, mountain volunteer service, sea rescue and emergency medical officers practiced resuscitation in the Rosomak medical evacuation vehicle, handling mass events and securing injuries on the battlefield.
As part of the conference, the 1st Lower Silesian Meeting with Rescue was held, when over 200 children learned the principles of first aid and obtained the title of a small rescuer.
