The Board of the Lubuskie Voivodeship will subsidize four public universities in the voivodeship. The management board distributed the money following an algorithm taking into account the number of students and research clubs in a given university.
Most, over 211 thousand PLN for research clubs, will be given to the University of Zielona Góra. The money will be allocated to the second “Horn – Impulse to Innovation” competition for the best projects with commercial potential implemented by research clubs operating at the university.
In addition to the University of Zielona Góra, grants were also received by the Jakub from Paradyż Academy in Gorzów Wielkopolski, the Department of Physical Culture in Gorzów Wielkopolski (a branch of the Academy of Physical Education in Poznań) and Collegium Polonicum.
The provincial government consistently supports the development of higher education in the region through scholarships for students and grants for universities to support the functioning of the faculties or grants for scientists.
