the auspices of the Rector of the University of Lodz and the Marshal of the Łódź Province on June 15, 2018, the seminar “Uberization of business, economy and work” will be held in the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
The organizers of the event Polish-American Center of Management (PAM Center) and the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz inform that the participants will discuss following questions: How does the dissemination of uberization affect the development of business and the labor market? What will the new class of “on-demand workers” bring us?
Also, they will discuss the identification of new solutions and business models that undermine traditional business patterns; anticipating the consequences and impact of “uberisation” on employment, payment systems, legal regulations and market activities of companies; analysis of opportunities and threats in the changing labor market.
