-In 2019, we will celebrate the important anniversaries for the Polish parliamentary – the June elections of 1989 and the thirty years of restitution of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. In this jubilee the Chancellery of the Senate organizes a conference entitled “The role of the Senate in the system of the Republic of Poland – towards the future.”

The Senate plans to receive the opinion of young scientists and students on the place, significance, role and future of the upper house in Polish system. The important part of this jubilee will be a student and doctoral panel, participated by the winners of the competition, who will take part and deliver their speeches.

The conference is organized on May 30, 2019 in the Senate. The competition is open to students, graduates and PhD students of law or political science.
