On October 1, 2019, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Warsaw hosted a delegation from Senegal. The capital’s university was visited by Serigne Mbaye Thiama, Senegal’s Minister for Water and Sewage, Niokhor Ndour, Director of Ds. Water Resources Management and Planning, Senegal’s Ministry of Water and Sewerage, and Amadou Dabo, Senegal’s Ambassador in Poland.
Guests visited the Water Center of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and participated in an expert seminar on water issues, which was attended by representatives of business and academic centers.
At the official meeting in the Rectorate the guests met the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Michał Zasada, representative of the Office of International Cooperation and representative of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Prof. Jaroslaw Chormanski.
The participants discussed presented university’s didactic offer and the possibility of organizing short-term trainings for employees of the Ministry of Water and Sewerage of Senegal.
