Seven PhD students of the University of Wrocław won over 750,000 in total PLN from the National Science Center as part of the sixth ETIUDA competition.
The following projects will be financed: “Veterans in Spanish society in the 17th century” by Paweł Szadkowski; “Personal items made of bones dated to the early Bronze Age: materiality and meaning” Kinga Winnicka; “Deliberation in the hermeneutic perspective. From the theory of language to the political practice” by Wojciech Ufla; “Cognitive and personality correlates of olfactory memory” by Agnieszka Sabiniewicz; “The role of metalloproteinases in shaping long-lasting synaptic plasticity and excitability of the neuronal network in the CA1 area of the hippocampus of mice” by Patrycja Brzdąk; “Characteristics, optimization and application of Zn2 + ion-dependent interactions” by Anna Kocyła and “Application of algorithmics in the context of selected social and economic issues” by Krzysztof Sornata.
