The project ‘Bridge for the exchange of data and experience in the area of green transformation’ of a team from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology won the Siemens and Warsaw University of Technology Award Competition.

The 27th Competition was organised in a new formula under the motto ‘Data for the Environment’. Submitted projects were to take account of the use of data and issues of sustainability and social responsibility. 

The project ‘Bridge for the exchange of data and experience in the area of green transformation’ concerns the development of cooperation between the academic community and companies in monitoring and exchanging data on the performance of renewable energy sources and energy storage. 

To this end, it is planned to expand access to and use of long-term data from the Research Photovoltaic System and Battery Storage installed on the campus of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The infrastructure and solutions created will be available to students and doctoral students as well as research teams.
