The Institute of Physics, Scientific and Didactic Center (CND) of the Silesian University of Technology are organizing a summer school “Applied Physics in: archeology, geology, material engineering, environmental engineering”.
Summer school courses are scheduled from 24 to 28 June and they will be attended by secondary school graduates. The main objective is to familiarize students with the subject of research conducted at the Institute of Physics of the Silesian University. The school will start on June 24 and will last until June 28.
The lectures are to help participants learn about physics but also about the possibilities of its application to solve problems faced by scientists. During the course students will visit specialized laboratories of the Institute of Physics and participate in practical workshops conducted by the Institute’s specialists.
