The Silesian Centre for Law Engineering, Technology and Digital Competence Cyber Science, co-founded by the University of Silesia, has been honoured with the title of Friend of the Union Digital Poland. The organisation appreciated the cooperation with the centre and its significant contribution to the dissemination of knowledge about new technologies.

The Digital Poland Association is a not-for-profit industry employers’ organisation, bringing together the largest companies in the digital and new technologies sector, such as Google, Meta, Samsung, Ericsson and IBM. The presentation of the title took place in Lodz during the rethink digital fest technology festival. 

The Cyber Science Centre is a scientific and didactic consortium formed by the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Research and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute NASK, the University of Economics in Katowice and the Silesian University of Technology.
