The Silesian University of Technology is a partner in the prestigious Deep INVENTHEI project funded by the European Union under the HEI Initiative programme. The aim of the project is to create an international network of regional innovation valleys that will contribute to attracting and retaining high-tech talent in Europe, through training and support for academic spin-offs and start-ups.
The project will be implemented by a consortium of universities research centres, companies and associations.
The consortium comprises the University of Porto (leader) and INOVA+-Innovation Services SA (Portugal), the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic), Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania), the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), The University of Sheffield (UK), TTK University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), School of Engineering at Jönköping University (Sweden) and Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University (Ukraine).
