Silesian University of Technology is intensively developing scientific-research and didactic cooperation with aviation institutions. The latest partner of the university becomes the Technical Institute of Air Forces from Warsaw. The contract has been signed by the Vice-Rector for General Prof. Bogusław Łazarz and the director of the Institute, Prof. Mirosław Kowalski.

The signatories of the agreement expressed their satisfaction with the strengthening of contacts between institutions whose business profiles allow for synergistic scientific and research cooperation in innovative fields of knowledge. The signed document will be the first step towards intensification of activities in the dynamically developing civil and military aviation industry.

The contract provides joint conducting research and development, innovative and implementation activities, as well as implementation of projects financed from domestic or foreign funds. The partners will also organize training for employees and undertake many other initiatives.
