The Silesian University of Technology (SUT) has joined EIT Health, a European public-private partnership for innovation in medicine and healthcare. The university will work to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and education, healthy living and active ageing.
The projects will be carried out at the European Centre for Innovative Health Technologies, which operates at the PŚ. Equipped with world-class technologies, software and highly specialised laboratories and studios, the Centre conducts interdisciplinary research, service, information, training and promotional activities.
EIT Health – a unit of the European Union’s European Institute of Innovation and Technology – is one of Europe’s largest public-private partnerships in healthcare innovation. Its mission is to build an ecosystem that enables the healthcare sector to thrive, so that Europeans can live longer and healthier lives.
