The Silesian University of Technology is one of founders of the Silesian IoT Cluster SINOTAIC Cluster. The initiators are the Silesian Voivodeship and Smart Secure Networks. This is the first such entity in Poland.
One of the main tasks of the Cluster is to develop lasting cooperation between companies and scientific institutions as well as public administration and business support organizations of the Silesian Voivodeship. The main purpose of his establishment is to create products and solutions for the Internet of Things, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity.
Within the Cluster, joint research and implementation projects will be implemented as well as effective transfer and commercialization of their results as part of business operations. The cluster will also be responsible for creating an implementation center in Silesia in the field of the Internet of Things by integrating native solutions.
