The Silesian University of Technology obtained high marks in two areas of the latest European Ranking of Engineering Programs – EngiRank “by subject”, prepared by the Perspektywy Education Foundation.
In the Civil Engineering category, the University won against 46 analogous courses offered by universities of Poland, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, and Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The field of studies in Civil Engineering is conducted in English by the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the university.
In the Mechanical Engineering, the Silesian University of Technology took second place, defeated only by the Pannonian University in Hungary. A total of 106 scientific institutions were assessed in this category.
The initiator of the European Ranking of Engineering Studies is the Perspektywy Education Foundation. The main partner of the project is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System.
