The Silesian University of Technology has received over PLN 4 million as part of the MOTO POWER competition organized by the Ministry of Investment and Development. This is the highest grant received among all higher education institutions.

As part of the project “Silesian University of Technology as a research center in the field of education for the automotive industry”, five education programs will be developed and tested at the fifth level of the Polish Qualifications Framework. It joins vocational education with secondary and higher education.

The education will be implemented in five fields: automation and robotics at the faculties of Automation, Electronics and Information Technology and Mechanical Technology, electrotechnics at the Faculty of Electricity, transport at the Faculty of Transport, mechanics and mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as well as management and production engineering at the Faculty of Organization and Management.
