The Silesian University of Technology is the winner of the title Made in Poland 2020. The award was granted for a significant impact on the development of the national economy by implementing innovative projects, cooperation with enterprises and promoting Polish higher education.
– The Silesian University of Technology is one of the 10 universities implementing the research university program. It is a huge honor and we do not overestimate it, but we are treating it as a challenge. In Silesia, we are placing particular emphasis on the development of cooperation with the socio-economic environment – says Prof. Janusz Kotowicz, vice-rector for cooperation with the social and economic environment of the Silesian university.
The Made in Poland program distinguishes organizations supporting the development of the Polish economy and Polish brands and shapes cooperation with business. It is run by the Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship, the Entrepreneurship Forum within Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Biznes Plus within Gazeta Wyborcza.
