Dr Eng. Małgorzata Włodarczyk-Biegun from the Biotechnology Centre of the Silesian University of Technology was one of the laureates of the Scientific Awards of Polityka 2022. They are awarded to talented young scientists. Dr Małgorzata Włodarczyk-Biegun was awarded in the science category.
“This is a great recognition not only of my work, but especially of the work of my young team. It is also a credit to many of my mentors and people who have accompanied me in my scientific career. It is also an appreciation of the field of 3D bioprinting, which is not yet very popular in Poland and is only developing”, says the laureate.
Dr Eng. Małgorzata Włodarczyk-Biegun’s scientific work focuses on 3D bioprinting for the development of modern implants.
This year, the Science Prizes of the Polityka weekly were awarded for the 22nd time. They aim to provide financial support to the most talented scientists, but also to popularise their research.
