The Silesian University of Technology and the Association of Municipalities and Poviats of the West Voivodship signed agreement to organize internships for students of Materials Science – a first-cycle program with a practical profile.

The goal is to broaden the knowledge acquired during studies and to develop practical skills and social competences, as well as to create conditions for professional activation of students on the labor market, as well as to learn the principles of organization and mechanisms of the institution’s functioning.

The Association undertakes to coordinate the implementation of student internships in interested local government bodies of the Subregion, their subordinate units, unions and associations. The organization connects 28 communes and poviats of the western subregion of the province Silesia. The main areas of activity are lobbying on matters important for the Subregion as integration of various environments, and economic and tourist promotion.
