The Silesian University of Technology will receive funds for the implementation of 78 implementation doctorates, including 10 in the field of artificial intelligence. This is the largest number of such doctorates at all Polish universities under the third program of the “Implementation doctorate” initiated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

61 applications were submitted for the competition, of which 52 applications with 449 candidates for the program were submitted into the module “Implementation doctorate I”, while 9 applications with 36 candidates applied for the program in the module “Implementation doctorate II in the field of artificial intelligence”.

As part of the module “Implementation doctorate I” the Silesian University of Technology received 68 implementation doctorates, in the module “Implementation doctorate II in the field of artificial intelligence” it also received the most – 10 doctorates.
