Silesian University of Technology begins cooperation with the Japanese company Kyosan Electric Manufacturing. The partners will work together to improve the safety and fluency of rail and road traffic.
Cooperation between new business partners will include the exchange of ideas, know-how and experiences. Both the university and the company declare their willingness to cooperate in the field of research and implementation work as well as general education.
Kyosan Electric Manufacturing manufactures and sells railway signaling systems and traffic control systems. The Japanese company is working on ARTEMIS technology, which exchanges information on traffic and work of traffic lights between real-time signal control devices. The new business partner of the Silesian University of Technology counts on cooperation with the university primarily in the field of developing this technology.
