The Silesian University of Technology will cooperate with the Burn Treatment Center in Siemianowice Śląskie. The purpose of the agreement is to use the experience and scientific achievements of the university as well as the potential and position of the Center for further activities for the good of both parties and the development of the region.

The agreement was signed by: the rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk and the director of the Burn Treatment Center in Siemianowice Śląskie, Dr Mariusz Nowak.

The cooperation will take place in research and development, exchange of experiences, employment of graduates and mutual promotion of achievements. Students will be able to do internships at the Center. The hospital will also propose theses to be used by students of the University of Technology. The center will also cooperate with university departments in the modernization of the teaching process.
